CPA - Construction Products Association
The Construction Products Association (CPA) is the leading organisation that represents and champions construction product manufacturers and suppliers. This vital UK industry defines our built environment, providing the products and materials needed for homes, offices, shops, road, railways, schools and hospitals. The sector directly provides jobs for 373,000 people across 24,000 companies and has an annual turnover of more than £61 billion. The CPA represents 85% of the industry by value.

CFA - Contract Flooring Association
The CFA's membership accounts for a significant proportion of the companies, both large and small, in the UK commercial flooring market and includes commercial flooring contractors, manufacturers, distributors and consultants.

BESA - British Educational Suppliers Association
BESA, the British Educational Suppliers Association, is the trade association covering the entirety of the UK educational suppliers sector. It has a 90-year heritage serving the UK education sector, and represents over 300 educational suppliers in the UK. Combined, BESA’s members constitute around 80% of the market in terms of the amount spent by UK schools on products and services.

FIS - Finishes & Interiors Sector
FIS is the representative body for the finishes and interiors sector in the UK. The organisation exists to support its members, improve safety, minimise risk, enhance productivity and drive innovation in the sector. The finishes and interiors sector in the UK has an annual turnover of £10 billion and accounts for approximately 10% of all construction works. Fit-out and finishing is a key part of every building process, but unlike other elements of construction, buildings will often have over 30 fit-outs in their lifetime.

AMHSA - Automated Materials Handling
The Automated Material Handling Systems Association promotes the interests of its members, defines and upholds best practice in the industry, and aims to be a leading example of excellence in the field of automated materials handling.

UKMHA - Forklift Trucks
The UKMHA represents all aspects of the UK's material handling industry. It provides expert advice, Q&A forums, training courses, and membership options for materials handling professionals on the latest industry developments, health and safety regulations, and best practices.

DHF -Door & Hardware Federation
dhf is the Trade Association for companies associated with Industrial Doors & Shutters and Automated Gates. It has over 500 members and provides technical advice and training designed to raising the standards of the industry.

ALEM - Lifting Equipment
The Association of Loading and Elevating Equipment Manufacturers (ALEM) consists of members who are engaged in the manufacture or distribution of lifting, loading and elevating equipment. The Association represents companies involved in providing equipment and services for the safe handling of loads, whether they are products, vehicles, equipment or personnel. These products include Lift Tables (scissor lifts), Tail Lifts, Dock Levellers, Ramps, Vehicle Lifts, Goods Lifts, Pallet Lifters and Platform Lifts.

BMHF - Materials Handling
The British Materials Handling Federation constitutes the British National Committee of the Federation Européenne de la Manutention (FEM). Membership is open to British Trade Associations whose member companies engage in the design, manufacture or supply of materials handling equipment. BMHF collectively represents over 400 companies with in excess of 25,000 employees and operating in an industry with a total turnover exceeding £3.5 billion.

IPAF - Powered Access Equipment
The International Powered Access Federation promotes the safe and effective use of powered access equipment worldwide in the widest sense by providing technical advice and information, influencing and interpreting legislation and standards, and through safety initiatives and training programmes.

SEMA - Storage Equipment
SEMA is the British Trade Association of the Storage Equipment Industry, committed to promoting and extending the safe design, installation and use of storage equipment manufactured and supplied by its members. SEMA aims to establish and educate the industry on racking safety and management of Warehousing and Storage Equipment and promote co-operation between its members.

FEM -European Materials Handling Federation
FEM has represented European manufacturers of materials handling, lifting and storage equipment since it was founded in 1953. FEM membership is open to the national organisations of European countries representing manufacturers of materials handling equipment or their association, as well as providers of products or services which are complementary to material handling equipment.
